    Does anyone have the answer to Question 20?

    Disclaimer: I am self-employed and not changing for anything! Hence not sending it in but can't afford to waste any more time thinking about this question!

    Maybe it's too early in the morning; but may I ask what you're talking about?

    I was thinking the same but didn't want to mention it in case I had never heard of Google's Glat list and would make me a silly SEO.

    10, 9, 60, 90, 70, 66

    From left to right, keep the same pair of numbers.

    10 -> 60 = x6 use 6 later on
    9 -> 90 = x9 use 9 later on
    10 + 60 = 70
    9 + 90 = 66 upside down
    90 + 6 = 96 upside down stays 96

    There you have it. 96

    That's because it is mud ;) (Sorry Tops I couldn't resist...)

    The next number is 10000000000 which is why the correct answer is D) None of the above.

    I thought that the answer to all such questions was 42. At least that is what Douglas Adams told me :)

    I don't really want to publish the answers to GLAT questions in a public forum but if you are genuinely interested in the answer I can PM to you.

    Just out of curiosity, how did you go from asking a question in a public form in the starter post to the thread to not wanting the answer posted in a public forum in 4 days? Did I miss something?

    I don't think you missed anything but let me see if I can help you understand....

    It is completely immaterial to me if anyone publishes a GLAT question and/or an answer if that is what they want to do. The obverse is of no concern to me either, it's simply exercising personal choice.

    Contrary to what you say in your post I did actually post the answer (Post#10) but as I said I do not want to post the reasoning behind it.

    I hope this explanation satisfies your curiosity.

    R u guys serious? I have to agree with TOP that the answer is 96, but his reasoning is kinda shady...

    check this out:

    you have the sequence:
    10, 9, 60, 90, 70, 66 ...

    written in english:
    ten, nine, sixty, ninety, seventy, sixty-six, ...

    counting the number of letters for each number:
    10->3
    9->4
    60->5
    90->6
    70->7
    66->8

    could this be more clear???

    3,4,5,6,7,8... naturally, the next number must have 9 letters...
    number 96 (ninety-six) has 9 letters...

    -> ninety-six wins.

    answer mus be A.

    Please let me know if you can think of why this would be wrong

    Many roads lead to Rome gp2005. I'm sure there is more ways to our answer then just one. Google is after creativity as well so I wouldn't be surprised when there's more then 1 answer. Just like in real life there is not just that one solution. As long as you can give support to your reasoning behind a solution then the answer is fine I guess.
