    10 minutes ago my laptop battery packed in and I have no idea where to get a new 1.

    There's a whole bunch of numbers on the battery and I've tried typing them all into various laptop battery websites to no avail.

    The number on the top of the battery is

    battery pack: 755-354000-S2S1

    There's a bunch of other numbers as well;

    PBB 234567413 02395
    23-UD4B00-3A
    1A-23F2
    SBX23456741602637
    63-UD4023-GA CM2

    It says on the top it is made by Samsung and on the bottom it says made by Sole Energy.

    If anyone knows about this stuff the information would very much appreciated.

    Cheers :)

    One thing that sucks on notebooks, sometimes the price of replacement batteries is more than insane :( Hope you find a cheaper one, I'll try a few searches and see if I can find a better source :)

    How long was your warranty for? I've seen them anywhere from 1 year to 3 years. Have you tried contacting the place you bought it from?

    Batteries don't have long term warranties, you'll get one year if you are lucky

    The warranty was for 1 year.

    Chances are they would tell me I broke the warranty when I spilled hot chocolate over it. All that fluid probably drained the battery a bit as well as the fact I have had it working 16 hours a day every day for the last 18 months and has travelled all over the UK from planes to trains to knocking about in the boot of my car.

    Thanks for all your help guys. I would still be searching the net if you hadn't found all that info :)
