This thread is aimed to dig both SEs.
What the difference you feel in both SEs?
I rate MSN as best because it is fast and updates quite fast + crawl websited early in the morning than Google.

MSN has been really good to me recently. After google recent optimization, a couple of my pages have disappeared off the face of the earth (page 10+)

I guess you can say google is the better SE as far as search results are concerns, but with that it is very annoying with its sandbox and its very slow updates.
as MSN sees more then 800 backlinks - Google sees just 10.
Google should defenetly make a bit more effort to keep their pagerank system relevant to anyone - as MSN don't care about that PR.

For me it's easy... the Ferrari still sandboxes my sites and sends me very few visitors per day. The old motorcycles (MSN and Yahoo) send me plenty (several hundreds).

I'm trying to get a Ferrari but I'm quite happy with the old motorcycles:D

LOL, I mean only about the quality of results, searching in MSN usually gives you plenty of unuseful spammy sites.

It takes some time before you got used to the ferrari and before the ferrari learns to know you ;)

For my sites MSN is the best source of traffic by far, followed by Yahoo.
Google sucks, their stupid sandbox and taking months for linking, I use google for searches, but as far as liking or depending on Google for my traffic etc, NO WAY....... there the pits for me

I think, MSN is good when you are in google sandbox. When you are out of it nothing compares to google. (my opinion only.). :)

Google is the nicest to search, but MSN does better for my site.

bluegill_catcher mentioned an important point. It's not just about the number of visitors. Some of my sites do massively well in Google, others don't. Some do well in MSN. But the demographics of the visitors the different search engines send is vastly different. I track what type of information they're looking for, how ready they are to buy, and what the rates of conversion are. In that respect Google traffic is very I-just-want-info-for-now compared with Yahoo and MSN. Each visitor from Yahoo and MSN earns me three times what each visitor from Google does.

We see this too, Y! & MSN generate $2.50 per visitor to Google's $1.00. But Google brings us 15x the traffic.
The net result is Google puts more money in the bank for us at the end of each day.

MSN seems to be the fastest at indexing and ranking a site. Google may take much longer in that area but traffic wise, Google blows MSN away!

It almost seems that sites that do well in MSN, do not do well in Google.
At least this is the case with my websites.
Anyone else have the same experience?

    cheers

Actually I have been seeing that by targeting Google and getting good rankings in Google, MSN soon follows.

Google is kinda like a credit reporting agency, you've got to have lots of credit (backlinks) and a long credit history (site age because of sandbox) to get a good ranking.
