    Thanks for update.
But i am looking for cheap deals.
    Godaddy.com is asking $9.99/year
    Namecheap.com is offering $8.88

I heard that there is company offering $1.00/year for the domains.

I am also trying to search for that company.

Be careful with $1 deals because they are often shabby companies that go way up after the first year or have so many restrictions that your domain is held hostage. I would look for coupons and get from either Namecheap or GoDaddy because you have good control on your domain name and it is easy to transfer to a new owner if you sell it. I use Namecheap for all mine hand have been very happy.

If anyone is selling you for under $6 or something would most probably be making a loss when selling you. Some may just offer low prices for the first year and lock you in so they can charge higher prices from the second year onwards.

Don't go for cheap because you probably would regret it.

Personally, $12 a year is regarded as cheap to me because it is just $1 a month which probably cannot really buy anything in this time and age.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
Sure, i am also not only looking for cheal deal but quality as well.
Our first preference is quality not money. How to get coupons? so that we can use them.
We have some projects to move further, for those projects we are buying these domains. We are not planning to re-sell these things. This is for real project from the real people for their in house projects.

Maybe something like http://www.dncoupons.com/ should get you some coupons.

If it is for a long term project then godaddy or namecheap would be good alternatives. Don't bother with budget registrars.

try godaddy coupons..that way u get around 6.95 for a domain..thats still quite less compared to the 7.99 to the domainsite domains..

netfirms is not that good in their 4.99 domains..they need CC and also some people had issues with them...

    Thanks for suggestions.
We are already working with Godaddy.com and enjoying 3 domains with them + linux hosting for 5 years.
The website you have provided; has a series of coupons, is legit to use these coupons? at godaddy.com

Becasue we dont want any problem later, as this is our inhouse projects and we'll run these project for long lasting.....

Yes they are legit. They do offer special offers which is probably just slightly over a dollar. If you do not feel comfortable using them, you could always just registered as the official pricing.

If you are buying from godaddy you can use their coupon code that will give you good discount for example; using OYH3" will give you $2 off for .com and for bulk purchase you can use Code: GDRadio16 Discount: $10 off $50 domain name order. :)

Web hosts sometimes offer domain registrations for you, but in case your host doesn't... here's my mini-list of domain registrars.

The best domain registrars in my opinion:
    1. NameCheap
    2. GoDaddy
    3. Dotster

    Worth the try:
    1. Active-Domain

    Avoid:
    1. RegisterFly :) (I have had bad experiences with this registrar...)

http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com they are offering fresh domain registration for $1. Remember they are giving that price only for the first year.

Depends on what extensions you need..
I buy different extensions from different registrars...
    I buy .CN from dynadot.com
.Com, .Net from onlinenic which does not work very professional.. :(
