I prefer Elvis' version of that, the one in his last concert.

I have hundreds by different artists depending on the version of the song.

For example, one of the best songs I have ever heard was "Kashmir" as performed live by Led Zeppelin at the Atlantic Records 40th anniversary show in 1988.

The studio version is not as good.

"In the light" by LZ is one of the greatest songs of all time (spooky) I have never heard them play that live, so the studio version.

"Ten years gone", live version bootleg 1977 Cleveland, Ohio concert is considered a masterpiece by Rock musicians.

If you can get a copy of that concert you will find out why, or just get the Live Led Zep DVD and you will see what I am saying. That 77 version is not on the DVD, but the entire concert is considered one of the best live performances ever, it has been described by other rock musicians as legendary.

Not sure on the second one... there are so many. Up by Shania is the most played on my iPod. However The Remedy by Jason Mraz is catching up fast along with The Working Day by Marcel.

 

I couldn't even begin to narrow it down to 50, well maybe 50. But to come up with only two? no way hosé. I mean to choose from Styx, Billy Joel, LRB, Bee Gee's, ELO, Elton John, Eagles, Boston, Head East, Glen Campbel, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Fleetwood Mac, America, Alabama, the list goes on and on...

 

For Stones fans, I think "get your YA YA's out was one of the best live recordings they ever made.

Keith and Mick were young back then, no doubt Keith Richards was on a high wave that day.

A collection of sketches, drawings and caricatures have been put on display by his widow Yoko Ono.

She has called the show When I'm Sixty Four, after the Beatles song credited to Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney.

Lennon, who was murdered in 1980, would have reached his 64th birthday on Saturday.

The exhibition at the 102 Wooster Street gallery in New York's SoHo area is being staged over the weekend.

Ono says she has found new drawings created by Lennon, who was a student at the Liverpool College of Art.

Scientists have created an image of how John Lennon would have looked if he were still alive, it emerged today.

Using the latest in computer technology, psychologists and computer scientists at St Andrews University created the image of the ex-Beatle as he might have looked on his 64th birthday tomorrow.

Lennon was killed at the age of 40 when Mark Chapman shot him in New York on December 8, 1980.

The scientists used the cover image from retrospective 1982 album The John Lennon Collection, in which the star was pictured just before he died, as a starting point.

Elisabeth Cornwell, of the university’s perception lab, then used “ageing” software to reproduce the natural effects of growing old on skin texture, hairline and hair colour.

The software – which could be used to assist police inquiries into people who have been missing for many years – is able to manipulate facial images to change the age, sex, race or even perceived personality attributes of an individual.

The team has previously created images of how Hollywood stars Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Elvis Presley might have looked in their old age
