Religion Of Peace?

A dozen Christian men were convicted Thursday and sentenced to up to 14 years in jail for beating to death and beheading two Muslims to avenge the government executions of three Christians in Indonesia last year.

Five other Christians received eight-year terms for burying the pair, who were set upon by a mob as they drove though a Christian neighborhood on Sulawesi island a day after the Sept. 22, 2006, executions of Fabianus Tibo and two other Christian militants.

If you're inferring that Christianity is seen by anyone anywhere as a religion of peace, you're insane. Christianity has an ugly history and an ugly present. These believing fools have been taking blood in the name of their "god" for centuries.

 

I've never heard it called the religion of peace, where you get that?

The religion itself was a corrupt pack of lies before these killings. Christians have been spilling blood for thousands of years, all with the same reasoning. Is it any wonder that someone who worships "god" is also crazy enough to kill at will?

What is the point of your thread?

Are you informing us about about a crime some Christians had committed in Indonesia? If yes then why do you use religion with such emphasis? And even if you are saying that they committed the crime on the name of religion, you should not forget that in Indonesia, Muslims are doing the same thing on a broader scale with not only Christian but also Buddhists, which is IMO one of the most peaceful community in the world.

Or are you trying to Counter-attack the religion as they do with Islam?
If yes then you have no base to defend Islam when they attack it. Because you are using the same argument other use while attacking the Islam.
