Marcel, i offered the site on October 10th with a pagerank 2,
as you can see at the first page according to this there is no reason
for faking the PR, right?

 

I find it strange that when we search for www.64bitsupport.com we find

phpbb2.de

Are you faking their pagerank to improve your odds at selling this site ?

Just prove me wrong and I'll publicly appologise. But right now, I think this is fishy and not right.

I installed at 64bitsupport.com several mods by pbpbb2.de
like the security mod and the search engine optimization mods,
and the manage bots mod .... http://www.phpbb2.de/dload.php,
maybe this could be the reason.

So, I just came back from hopital, after a big operation so you have to understand, i don`t feel like to figure out or locate errors now!

I will check that to tomorrow and i will open a post in the php2 forum!

But honesty, I don`t have the time and skills doing such stupid
pr tricks, also the price with or without the PR is the same.

And as you can see i didn`t increased the price or refered to the
new PR.

But relating to the affliates and refereres the pr update is justified!
Maybe you know more how the google pr works?

 

Your explanation sounds genuine. And from what I know it makes sense.

My advice is to not worry about this too much. But make sure the phpbb2.de script can't continue this "very nice accident".

Your site could get banned or suffer a PR famine if Google thinks your trying to take advantage of something like that. ( I have no proof of that though ).

Be careful... You don't want to stunt the growth of a really nice site.

What is not legit to you? Before you`re posting or spamming,
you have read the whole threat !!!!!

1. I`ve the PR is wrong, which i don`t know, because i didn`t care too much of it until now,
...... the new PR7 maybe caused on a phpbb mod by phpbb2.de. I opened a topic on phpbb2.de ......

2. I didn`t mention PR7 on the first post, also as you can see i didn`t increased
the price or refered to the new PR7, which has changed last week when i was in hospital.
On the first page i offered the site with a PR2.

so i don`t know how the google PR exactly works,
but a PR7 is not unpossible or improbable !?

Yes, thanks Jake, i wrote google and reported that bug or hack!
I am pretty sure they will fix it!

Also i removed a seo mod, that maybe caused that issue!
