I've been out of the game for a few months now, and I'm finally starting to get back into the full swing of things and I was wondering... Are images still allowed next to the ads or no?

Well, if I remember correctly, they were banned a while back. Then, adsense stopped allowing them as well.

Definitely not allowed and hasn't been for quite a long time. Much longer than a month...

I doubt it....it leads to deceiving the visitor of your site to click, which is not the goal...

Placing images next to ads is not allowed for AdSense publishers. Also, you can't do anything else to encourage clicks or draw extra attention to your ads (except the ad color combination). I don't know if it's valid for Yahoo YPN. It should be mentioned in their ToS.

I was referring to YPN. I have seen several sites that still are optimized this way with aligning the images... i was just curious as it seems YPN isnt cracking down on them as hard as they shoud be.

i guess they are allowed if they do not point out to ads or bullet individual ads...
but, u never know... google has an eye over all publishers and since there is a clause in TOS ... i suggest kindly avoid it..
