    Hi
We are planning to start a project about FASHION.
70% Coverage would be Images from Fashion Industry
30% Would be rich content abour Fashion Trends.

What should be the final product...

    (*) A blog
    (*) A Website

    What do you suggest?

This is fine with FASHION WEBSITE with CMS, but what about intrecting with visitors? I also need visitors to leave comment on posted images + content. I need to have feedback from them to improve our website as well. Can we have CMS + Feedback together?

A blog IS a (specialized) CMS. Since you are talking about news, I would go with a blog.

You obviously need both. One for one thing, and one for the other. Post updates on the blog, and update the website with the pics.

Same i am thinking about. Blog would have better funcationaliies to offer, Especially without any extra efforts, so called "inbuild". But if we are planning to move for blog, then what about images as we are going to have 70% of the website as IMAGES.

That means we have to run both at the same time.
We want to work only with one either blog or website...
But we have to concentrate to our goal as well.... this may be a good option, a blog + a website with CMS.

Blog's CTR is crap... yes its easier to start a blog.. but the problem is that you won't make as much money if you have a site. Also starting a blog will take alot more time, because then you will have to post daily.

Many news site do that, though you would be better off attaching a forum with the main site and creating topics for each article. That way people will be able to discuss it better and it will result in my more repeat traffic.

You can't have a site that also features a blog? Vogue is/was in the process of adding a "blog" section on their site.

You're talking about predominantly news (trends) and images. Sounds ideal for a blog.
