    Hello,
What are some general tips in securing a forum, such as vbulletin? What files should be chmod and to what settings? Thanks

Just ensure that you're up-to-date with the software. That's the most important thing I think. The chances of being the first one hacked are slim. But if you're way behind with some old version, you're seriously going to be looking for trouble, as you won't just be open to hackers but any goofball that can google.

Addition one Level login for Admin Panel with folder protect (/admincp). If attacker got you admin pass, he/she cannot access Admin Panel.
Note: Password for Folder protect is not same Admin password
