i wonder how dp makes money

i ain't talking any other things related to dp admins just about dp,
dp doesn't have paid advertisement, neither the adsense is of digitalpoint, its a revenue sharing, so how dp makes money,
anyways, i love it it's the best & fair around

dp admin is making more then 10k$ per month so you dont worry about dp.

 

i m not worrying actually i was just wondering i know dp admin makes good money
in all other forums, u know that how much advetisement they sell

DP forum is just one part of digitalpoint.com (Digital Point Solutions).

DP is much more than just a webmaster forum.

The forum provides support to DP clients and so I guess Shawn wants to retain the professional look of the forum.

Too much advertising on a company forum looks unprofessional.

 

revenue sharing doesnot means that all revenue is distributed between users, it means that user adsense add will be shown on there threads by the ration of 1:1

 

the CTR may not be good, but with the large number of hits dp gets, it allows it to make that kind of money from adsense from the forum alone.

I think, out of all people, webmasters are the people who give the least clicks. And this is a webmaster forum..

 

Many of the ads here are cpm ads. DP would still make money even when no one clicks.

 

And remember, plenty of newbs joining DP everyday, not to mention non-members who stumble here via Google Search...

 

adsense is the key. anyway does it mean that google offer to pay shawn by fixed rate or what?
