Hopefully this isn't a DUP!

has anyone else been absolutely inundated with trojan laced (clickable URL) emails in the last 2 weeks?

I've received no less than 55 emails all bearing the same construct/ploy:

"you have received a postcard/egreeting/whatever the fluck" from a "mate/friend/high school chum/your dentist/next door neighbor/the dog from down the street/your mom/your bit** GF!"....

and then the kicker is that the "retrieve" URL is something like

    67.128.44.149/alsdjfbhlasfbaljshdkajhsrgweg

I hope these people die a horrible fiery death! :p

I of course knew better, my wife who SHOULD know better wasn't thinking and BAM! Herpes!! (computer version) but luckily Zonealarm Security Suite nipped the nasties in the bud :D:D

Zone alarm is a good security suite. I have seen this too, It used to be on myspace. All these noobs were getting phished. I don't see how people can be so gullible on the net. If they see a link from some1 they don't know, they click it lol.

myspace was so bad there for a while, it was quite ridiculous!

I'll give my wife a pass in this case based on extenuating circumstances.

Z.A.S.S. has been very good. I decided to go with them b/c ironically I really liked the Outlook/OE spam filter!!

apparently the filter is not smart enough yet

I love the greetings. "hello, neighbor has sent you a card". Oh good, my neighbor who I have never met sent me something. I wonder what it is.
