    We have. We work with several manufacturers that only drop ship for us and require everyone else to order in bulk with cash upfront.

    It is easier to do this once you are established because you can tell them about your business and how it is growing and how you really want to include them because you believe it will benefit them etc. You have to sell them on the benefits of dropshipping for you. Focus on how you can help them grow sales, how your website visitors and customers would be interested in their products because they are relevant to other items you sell, etc.

    In my opinion, this is the kind of thing you really have to do on the phone. You need to just call a manufacturer, ask to speak to someone about a new account, and sell them on why they should work with you.

    You may have to pay for shipping, depending on the manufacturer and item. Pass that cost to the customer.
