OK, using iwebtool visual PR for Link Book Web Directory I see our Latest Links and Top Hits as PR4, but the toolbar and DigPageRank are indicating PR5

    http://www.iwebtool.com/visual/frme.html?ex=1&nofw=1&domain=www.linkbook.org
    ^^visual pagerank says PR4

    http://digpagerank.com/index.php?url=http://www.linkbook.org/index.php?list=latest&dc=4
    ^^digpagerank says PR5

    http://www.linkbook.org/index.php?list=latest
    ^^toolbar and DigPageRank indicating PR5

I can't confirm if these pages were already PR5 after the last update or not.

The PR of the top level categories has not changed, the majority are still PR6, and the homepage is still PR4.

Many thanks CReed(as usual ;)), Matt and saad

I thought it was quite odd myself, and that's why I was wondering if others could check theirs and have a say as to if they see these 'specific' link(s) changes as well.

This isn't a PR thread persay; It's specifically related to certain web directory pages only.

A backlink update is completely separate from a toolbar PR update, although both seem to have hit at least their early stages.

I have noticed that website that are for sure getting PR this time (they just missed the last PR update) have empty pr bars but a couple of my really new sites have the greyed out bar (I guess the snapshot happened too early for them). Have not found any PR changes yet though.

I'm not sure why mods insist on merging all threads about PR. If the directory section wants to talk about PR as it relates to DIRECTORIES, I don't see why we can't be allowed to do so. It makes keeping up so difficult when you merge 10 threads into one.

I can see if the threads were all the same, but in this instance, they certainly were not.

Your thinking is backwards: sporadic threads about the same topic spread all over the site is what makes it difficult to keep up. One consolidated thread is easy.

For sure. I care about making Google lots of profit, because our Adsense earnings are split 50/50 (or so they say).

    What now?!?!?!!?!
