Wanted: Dedicated Server With cPanel

Hi,
I am looking for a Dedicated Server with cPanel.
Other Specs:
At least Celeron 2ghz
512mb Ram
40gm Hard Drive

Must have at least 1,000gb bandwidth per month.

I am looking at around $50-$60 USD per month if possible.

Please either post below or pm me.

My current host has had problems the past 2 days and for a new hosting business it is not good business!

I had to register a godaddy account for my brilliant idea this morning before I forgot about it... send me an email when the hosting is back up

 

I differently will.. I am very sorry about the past 2 days not sure what the hell is going on at the server place. They tell me they have been working on the problem since the first 1hr it went down.. but no result yet.

I did have i.p. access for a while but now it is gone so hopefully I can find a good dedicated host offer here and we will be back in business for good!

Your asking a for a hell of a lot for $50-$60 a month, you could maybe get a VPS for this, but i doubt a full dedicated server.

 

$50-$60 per month is close to impossible for a dedicated server specially if you also get 24/7 support and 99% uptime guaranteed.

Have you look at 1and1? They have a $69 root I server using plesk instead of cpanel. It has everything you asked + 20Gig of FTP backup.

I use 2 root III from them and I enjoy them.

 

Are those really dedicated servers? If they are then damn why did I never knew them first hand!

 

Yep they are and when you crash the box (I did )... they can't even help unless you give them your root password...

But as they are "real" root server, they are unmanaged... you're on your own.

 

i don't know of a cheap dedicated server host, but i have seen them around. However, i would advise you to spend the money for a reliable dedicated server host. My first dedicated host was 99.00 bucks a month and it was nothing but problems. Now i spend 260.00 a month with a different host and the service is great.

I know this is not what you want as a reply, but i felt someone should tell you so you at least will have been warned. Not to say, all cheap dedicated host are unreliable. They are cheap for a reason...

 

if you are willing to use say directadmin, it can be done for close to that. Cpanel alone though usually costs about $25 a month.

Yes I noticed that alot of them charge $25 a month for cpanel ontop of server, I figure I need to increase the budget so looking around (hopefully) up to $80 USD.

I looked at 1&1 and they look ok but they use Plesk.. Do web clients tend to prefer cPanel or would Plesk be ok?

Thanks for the warning about cheap servers... yeah at present I really can not afford to outlay $300 USD a month.. I live in Australia so the monthly charge in AUD would almost ruin my business.

If you find something good ozegreatdeals, let me know as well. I am open till $250 a month, but more managed. I would not like to spend hours managing the server. Drew, good luck with your search. Try WHT forums, there are a ton of dedicated server companies, their reviews etc.

 

I have decided to go with a VPS server.
One of my existing webhosting companies has offered me a dedicated vps, they tell me that no other client is on that server or will be apart from me.
$139 USD Per Month.
Pentium 4 1.7ghz
512mb ram
80gb hard drive
cPanel With WHM and Fantastico
Unmetered bandwidth.

That's actually a lot for a VPS.

You could get a (minimally) managed dedicated for that price.

 

you could even get a fully managed dedicated with that price and specs

 

Can you show me the site you are referring to which is offering a fully dedicated server with everything mentioned above as I will check em out.
