Maybe it would be a good idea to just hate Halo 2 instead.:)

Ok I prefer XP over anything. I do have XP on my PC and Vista on my laptop and 98 on my dinosaur laptop,

By all means hail to XP of all the better versions that Microsoft has put out.

Oft times on vista, it just simply does not want to accept my mouse. Unless it is a program or website it accepts as only using the mouse vs the touchpad. Which is really sad. I should have the option no matter what, without diffuctly or having adjust settings.

I like Vista's great look and animations. But I hate the security. Every time I want to do something, even moving a file, the system will ask form my confirmation although I am the admin of the computer!

That's hardly Msoft's fault now is it? Give it time and the programs will become available.

The short answer is that my computer has been trying to keep with me all week. Never had this problem on XP.

I found it really slow running apps on a new PC with a 1gb of ram and a AMD Dual Core 5000. Granted, 1gb of ram isn't much anymore but even using small, basic apps was really sluggish

Here is me to the rescue.

I love Vista Ulti. and have been using it from BETA 2, right through the release candidates and now RTM.

Its the worlds' best OS I have ever come across, I have used nearly most of the popular OS, including Win 3.1, 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, 2003 and now Vista. Leave the MS branch, I have even used Amiga, Linux (FC6, Ubuntu, Gentoo, RH) and Mac Tiger (old).

Nothing is even close to Windows Vista Ulti. Definetly worth the buck... you wouldn't know what it feels like unless you have it and have the capable hardware to run it.

Ubuntu Linux is the way to go...it runs clean and fast, it very easy to install and use even for a linux novice, you can find and install software very easily, there is no need to worry about anti-virus and all the crazy security threats of windows and its FREE..forever...never spend money on OS's and software again.
