I did a short search and I am pretty sure I have heard this before but I just want to know if I am right about this. if you get backlinks but they have "no follow" do they not count for search engine rankings and do not pass any PR? if I am correct please let me know.
thanks for your help. I noticed some one who I did a link exchange with has a no follow on my url and all his other exchanges and I have had his link up for a few months now and I am kind of pissed about that.
No follow--- no attribute to your site.. Sad to hear about that thing.. well, next time you have to link to any site.. be sure to make things clear out about that no follow rule.
"Nofollow attribute value is not meant for blocking access to content or preventing content to be indexed by search engines. " Below is image of Nofollow SEs
Already started a thread about this: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=395280 Seems for other SEs than Google nofollow means nothing, so nofollow link are still useful regarding Y! & MSN ..
you should ask the site first that you would like to exchange link with if they put no follow in your link.. it brings traffic anyway.
