Search by Phone number

I was wondering if anyone knew a directory where you can stick in the phone number and see if the directory knows who the person is. I've just come back from my Easter holidays with some missed calls and no messages. I don't particularly like phoning up those guys who just want to know if you want to buy the latest Nokia or if you're happy with your current insurance.

 

Its amazing the results you can get by sticking the number into google.

I've found the numbers that call you at random are pretty much always listed in a blog or blacklist somewhere.

 

Yes, the Google phone book is pretty neat ... and scary, but in all, still a great, quick reference.

 

Yep I tried that but I remember searching a site which had numbers listed and it was able to give me who owned the lines for those numbers.

I cant remember which site it was though. Probably BT or something

 

Try http://www.anywho.com. Use the reverse lookup.
