    Monetized a few of my sites with the new google adsense referrals 2.0

    and all i can say is WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Perfect targeted ads and already generating income.

    Ive got quite a few channels up and running

    Seems the best one (for me anyway) is set up by keyword and using the image 428 banner ad

    I think the other setup puts far too many un-targeted ads on your site.

    Yeah, its very good.

    it even tells you which specific ads are doing best on the network before you even pick then an tells you how much you will earn per conversion.

    <edited out referral revenue, just in case>

    I'm doing great with the referrals. I just plopped them in along side my usual ads - text link format, and they referall ads get twice as many clicks, of which around 1 in 10 converts for a sum i could never make in a week on just CPC.

    I get clicks but conversion isnt very good. Only one conversion so far.

    it is for referral ads only ??

    please tell it has nothing to do with link unit and ad unit

    and how we have to upgarade .I have got notification but i dont no how to use it

    Kes, are you working for Google :) Other people here and on other forums have said that so far it is crap. No clicks and no conversion.
    I myself tried it for a week but removed it since nobody clicked whic means no conversion. Why waste ad space on something that doesn't pay. I'll wait until they get better targeted ads for my niche. So far Amazon.com, CB and CJ do a better job with conversion.

    Its Paid Per Action .. Conversions only

    Geneally, I find that the products need improving and some are in the wrng categories.

    You can select maximum of 10 categories or 15 products in your referral unit. A bit limiting for contextual but it was a highest pay-out checkbox which supposedly picks the best ad for you.

    For the pages I tried it out on, I still get pretty random ads. Whether this is due to a low number of products they have atm or what, I dunno.

    I think, it probably needs referral 3.0 before the masses are comfortable with it.
