How many of you here own a content site?

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering, how many of us here own a content site and how is your adsense doing?

I'm sure you're running adsense on them...

For us after only a single month with the site just opened to accept free submissions tonight (meaning the site has not articles in it yet) already started earning $2 a day. Weird because most of the traffic are form traffic generated from free traffic sites...

So I was wondering how is everybody doing on sites like these? I am thinking if we could get more content then we could basically get more from adsense right?

And if it is ok to ask, what are the best practices to earn more from it?

It depends... When i had a niche forum i was on $10 a day. Now with my general forum and twice as much traffic im lucky if i get $1.

 

Yeah, ive been trying to figure out how. I'm new to this forum so I'm not quire familiar with things yet. Could you possible show me how to do so?

Is it automatic or is someone reviewing it (I think it would be so because of the number of posts this forum has)...

 

People can rate your posts, look at the scales top right of each post. There is a million and one threads on it around here, it's called reputation, just doa search for that.

 

Its member driven...If someone posts 5 of the same post with a link to their site in their first 5 posts, it tends to annoy the users. Especially if the threads died out months ago.

A lot of good posters here started out in the red but settled in nicely and are valued members.

If you are here to stay, you will be green again in no time.

 

geeshh this seems to be a scary place hehehe but I'm glad all these are in place to avoid abuse and all that.

Yeah I'm here to stay alright... Nice to be in a highly active forum with such nice guys.

 

Help people out, don't whine about rep, and having a sense of humor helps as well.
