Xoom and Paypal Withdrawal Help !

    I am from India and I withdraw my first paypal money through xoom.At that time the service charge for xoom was $8.But now when I tried to withdraw they are charging $13 .Why is it ?


    Then how long it takes paypal checks to arrive ?
    Will I get something high from paypal ?

    Paypal allows you to transfer your money to xoom. But xoom will never allow the sender and receiver residing on the same country. I had that problem before and what I did is to transfer the paypal money to another paypal user and he transfer it to my xoom.

    You can transfer money from your paypal account to your bank account via Xoom.
    Refer this Clear your confusion about Xoom [Indians Only] for all the information.

    I would suggest transfering to your bank account from Xoom rather then waiting for the paypal cheque for 4 weeks.

    PayPal check usually arrives within 20 days after the Check has been issued. Add another 4-6 days time as processing time. So, if you request it on 1st on a month, you'll probably get it be 24th...

    Standard $8.00 <= $500

    Standard $15.00 >$500 to <=$1000

    So if you want to transfer more than $500 then they will charge $15 for that.

    Paypal check normally arive between 10 to 25 days depends on postal service in your area.

    hmm interesting, i heard paypal, is being strict on subcontinent accounts in india and other regions if they have a lot of money in their account..no wonder alot has been withdrawing their money from their account..

    Can u explain how u r getting the transfer?. Is it wire transfer, if so how much paypal charge for transfering the same to HDFC. I receive only cheques from Papal, not tried other things. Is it possible to get the money transferred directly from paypayl or PP is transferring the same thru other sources?. Thanks for the info.

    She is talking about transfer money through xoom service. Paypal never transfer funds from your paypal account to any indian bank so keep this in your mind.

    If you want to use this transfer service then you have to send money from your verified paypal account to xoom and xoom transfer that funds to your indian bank account directory or send you check through courier. You will get all details at https://www.xoom.com/static/help-overview.html

    using XOOM my check arrived in 5 days to India
    and you can except to have your check in 3-5 days time
    I recommend XOOM. its fast than paypal withdrawal check

    Yes xoom transfer is really good and u can select to which bank u need the transfer to be done(most banks in India are in the list) and it takes 48 hrs to get the money credited to your account...I have been using them for 3 months and have done 5 transactions,they are really safe

    Today I receive a Xoom Direct Deposit.
    I use xoom merchants for selling VCC to newbies so that we will never get cheated !
    The transaction was done before two days
