Harry Potter haters

Probably thats why you don't like the series - coz the movies suck.
You'll enjoy the books very much if you aren't too much of a geek.

 

I'm just curious as to how many of you who claim to hate Harry Potter so much have actually picked up any of the books and read them?

 

well, i'm going to the new harry potter this weekend, but i wouldn't say for the movie

 

I think Harry Potter is up there with Star Wars and LOTR. I'm not some kind of nut like some of those people who dress up like it or anything, but I think the books are very well written and the movies have a great cinematic value and moral message.

 

I've never read the books because I'm a fan of LOTR and Harry just seems a bit daft lol. Perhaps I should read a book before making that decision ...

 

Potter is obviously simpler than LOTR, but it's still a great read/film.

I really like the movie ... i read uptill the 4th book, but not the 5th since it looked too big to read...prisoner of azkaban took me a month..!!
since i get only an hour a day to read the book..

 

well not really...when u hate a movie or something u tell everyone that it sucks so...they don't waste their money on it...

Noooo way...harry potter is nothing compared to Star Wars and Lord of the rings...these movies are classic...don't get them mixed up please....... those movies are solid entertainment

Does anyone else find it ironic that the people bashing Harry Potter are typing the same way 14 year olds type on the Internets?

 

Yes, because my grammar was oh-so-terrible.

I've said before, I'm a fan of Harry Potter. I don't go crazy, but I enjoyed his books. My Harry Potter bash was more of proof that I can bash him. A good writer can argue both sides. I am a good writer =)

 

Coz this is called a "chat thread"...not an English class...don't get pissed off coz we don't like harry crap...go watch some kiddy movies or SOMFING....LOL

 

I hate Potter Movies, but the books are splendid.

 

I have watched 2 harry potter movies but haven't read the novels. But I suppose the movies and novels are meant for kids.
