I am pleased to announce the launch of the Looks Like phpLD General Directory. A few bits of information about our new general directory: 1) Our directory runs the phpLD style directory template which mimics the design and layout of the root phpLD website - this template (currently available for phpLD3.2.0 is available for download HERE). 2) As a new and free directory, we will be including only 10 free links per category. Full details can be found on the submission page contained within the guidelines. 3) Make sure you submit to the deepest, most appropriate category as failure to do so with mean rejection and hence you might miss out on one of those 10 free listings. 4) To improve your chances of getting listed in the free general or paid general directory sections having a unique or lesser used template will improve your chances of gaining one of those 10 sort after listings. 5) Descriptions should be between 300 and 600 characters – that’s right, an average websites description isn’t long enough, so get writing! 6) There is no image verification required currently – hopefully by having large description requirements this should cut down on spam. Obviously if you experience any issues with the site of believe a additional sub category is required or would simply like to comment on the design of the site please post to this thread. Nice directory. Ditto look like phplinkdirectory Added weblinkhouse.com under paid directories and topbidlinks.com under bidding directory. By mistake added directorytycoon.com at top category so can you move that listing to paid directories section please.
Done, directory tycoon did actually seem to be in the right category... strange... The quoter for paid general directories has now been reached!

Hmm i cant see it listed.. have another go... im actually quite suprised to see the number of paid directories attempting to be submitted but barely any free ones, although im sure that will change over the weekend... everyones at work!
I tried again but it does not work. Is simply return me to the same submission page having the fields ready filled with my previous data. Is there an error?
earticles - ive just submitted another of my own sites and didnt appear to have a problem! I think the likely explanation is that your listing hasnt got enough characters in the description field. Look over the input fields and you should see an error message detailing why you link has not been submitted. This is obviously something i need to look at to ensure error information is displayed more clearly... Thanks
I tried again using a longer description (467 chars) but the same page appeared after clicking submit and no error on page... No confirmation too... P.S. My name is Andrew

Didn't have any problems on my end, and btw thanks! Bookmarked thread, and will pass some green if I see the sites approved. Also - Under 'Business', I happen to see TWO 'computer' categories. Is that correct or a duplicate? I also have a site that I would like under 'business', but didn't see anything that matched. Looking for 'wholesale', 'distributors', or more importantly.... 'manufacturing'. Let me know if you can add one of those. Thanks
