$1000 SEO budget, what is the best way to spend it.

I've recently started a new site with a number of other DP members. The site is now live and I'm looking to start promoting it in the next couple of weeks.

I'm willing to invest $1000 (Somehow Adsense money does not feel so hard to spend ;-) )

Let me know what would you do with a Marketing/SEO budget of $1000.

 

Their are many things like start of with directory submission,Article Submission,Google Indexing,Social Bookmarking etc....

 

Buy PR 8,7,6 for BL

 

pay to be listed on Yahoo directory, look for dmoz editor to list your list for a fee,
then get the service or do it your self article submission and you are set to go

 

From starting never purchase these high pr links otherwise you would have to shell out more all the time.

It's better to go step by step. Instead of going at a faster rate by purchasing these links.

 

I'd spend it on..

1. High PR links
2. Google Adwords
3. Banner Space on high visual placement sites
4. Depending on the site = competition prize(s)

 

Buy high quality backlinks. Lots of them!

Sponsored blog posts on a high traffic sites will help too.

I will invest some amount in keyword research and than on specialized content writing, and than some general marketing to gain organic backlinks.

 

Paying for a bit of social bookmarking can get you traffic as well as some very good backlinks.

I would first invest on a good SEO book (DIY) and use the rest of the budget for advertisement / promotion. My 2 cents

That is one of the best options to spend on.

 

You should either save the money and invest some of it in good paid links from top quality directories or your can look at hiring an SEO specialist.

What is web 3.0? we've all heard of web 2.0 sites, whats the difference between web 2.0 and web 3.0?
