Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

hmm I like the first example a lot.
I have some sites using that sort of layout, never thought of adding an add into the list like that. Worth experimenting with that's for sure.

Thanks sagbee! I love that monkey ;) ....

about the tricky add placement......well by choosing carfully the words you place around the add, you can pull out specific add topics....sometimes high paying adds....I am still playing around with this....one add a couple of days ago paid $2.04 for one click.

Nice to see that first site has the same problem I have.
If there isn't an ad returned, then it looks daft just having an image hanging in mid air.

No jlawrence, i'm right now adopting that kind of ad placement. If there is no ad to show, put an alternate ad to another of your websites ;)

    LOL

That's a great idea! I almost didn't recognize that only two of the 'articles' are google adsense ads! Good idea, I think. :)

I actually clicked on a link ad the other day, and I never intentionally click on adsense ads.

I actually thought it was part of the navigation bar.. Can't remember the site though...

I thought pointing the ads with arrow or something was againt the TOS...

    Accoding to this http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=221941&postcount=10

It looks little bit like an arrow...

    Thank you, Very much.

Yes I particularly Like this thread, every single Example is the State-of-art mix and match.

    Many things to learn.

No its not against TOS. that doesnt attract undue attention, rather it hides ads with the content and google likes them. ;) it is just like placing a picture on the side of your ads

I've been all the day rebuilding this website. What do you think of the integration?

Too bad the ads are still in portuguese, i've changed the language from portuguese to english so I can reach a bigger target audience.

(I'm still adding the cars... I need to resize all the images and translate the text)

Be careful, that's a violation of the TOS:

"Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads."

Now the one possible way around that would be to actually turn the "My Favorite Links" text into a link to an actual page about your favorite links. Otherwise it looks like you are deceiving your users and you run the risk of being banned. However if it's set up as an actual link to a page, and you leave the horizontal line between them, that will probably be O.K.

Check this out: It is a medical forum. Not much content yet, but have a look at the ads, especially the one after the first post...
