I'm still found on a few datacenters too, phrase has 4 million results and I used to be no. 2. - now I'm +400.

Sucks, atleast I'm still in the top on google image search.

The site is old, full of content, dmoz listed and quite popular.

I still rank #1 for a few terms though.

All my sites chase a large number of low-competition terms.

I just can't get out of my mind the horrible thought that Bourbon is back.

could be something as simple as google devaluing anchor text. that wouldn't surprise me too much. I'm seeing drops, but its not catastrophic bourbon drops.

amazon should be pretty happy with this update though.

No. Not normally. Normally the results will all be pretty much identical.

Well you can say it isn't a dance or whatever but something is going on.

I'm seeing all of my rankings basically dissappear. This is a three year old domain. The terms going missing include items with coop weight, items without, items with recip links, items without, items with one ways, items without, items with links and items without. The terms going missing are have ranked well for anywhere from 2 years to 2 weeks. There's nothing consistent about it.

Call it what you will, a dance, a shuffle, moving from one foot to the other, normal serp play, whatever is going on it is certainly hitting my main site HARD. I'd guess I'll lose 80% of my traffic.

msn is just like google was 2 years ago

you get bunch of links, your rankings go up, and then everyone is happy

except you can kind of rank just on content in msn

Those who are seeing huge drops:
    Have you checked allinurl:yourdomain.tld lately?
I have been seeing alot of proxy trash that Google should have thrown out for mine.

Perhaps good rankings in the past have caused some problem now due to these proxies? Perhaps something similar to many of the malevolent 302 redirect sites, where rankings were scraped off of Yahoo, MSN or even Google itself to cause hijacks? Maybe Google is hitting everyone for similar content, not knowing who to credit?

allinurl: not even listed, and keyphrase is the domain name. Only 17 unique sites listed.

    allinanchor: ranked #9

Very puzzling. Dropped down to between 300-500 in all datacenters within the past 24 hours.

    @durango :
Same here. but only for sites that depend on co-op for IBLs
