    I've never quite understood where to get free stock photos or just photos in general, without paying like 25-500 dollars and I dont have that kind of money for just an image to make a design with. Like business images for a business template. Anyone know where I can get some from? Free? Besides google images? XD

    just type in the image you are looking for with the word stock photos...thats what i usually do..


    e.g.. cat stock photos.. google it!

    Well, I get a royalty patch on it (you know, those things that cover up the image so you cant use it, normally saying COPYRIGHT) when I do that. What do most designers do when they need an image of, I don't know, two people shaking hands, with a fairly good quality.

    try find in istockphoto.com

    If you respect the copyright, you can buy the image less than 1 dollar,..
    or if not,.

    Just remove the watermark :D

    ^ sxc.hu doesn't have any watermarks for me EXCEPT for the premium images which is decent...

    There is absolutely no way that you can remove the watermark from the image,even if you do,it'll surely erase some parts of the images...

    Anyhow,if you do know a certain method of doing so,without killing the quality of the image,then a PM to me will be preferable :)

    Personally,if you are willing to design something less complex,where your 'main' stock image will be used(much likely in the header,or anything else),then it is recommendable to go for free stock images(which aren't that good in quality).However,if you are designing a professional template,which should be giving out a clean and decent look,then it'll be worth to buy a 1$ stock image from iStockphoto(it'll satisfy some clients at least).
