    Okay! Can someone please tell me whether this is normal. My account has seen 1 click = $0.07 (which I thought was extremely low) but what the heck is this....3 clicks = $0.02 :confused:. What could be the reasons for this and how can I improve earnings per click?

    When I use adwords I have to pay way too much for the minimum bid (almost $4 per keyword).......costing me a bomb. And now the same related keywords ads on my site give me less than a cent.

    Something is fishy :rolleyes:

    Probably someone click twice on ads. You get only 0.01$ because 0.03$ get Google :p

    The click(s) could have been on a public service ad, which don't pay you any money.

    I doubt that....I have been running adsense for over 2 weeks now and never seen PSAs.

    adsense some times pays half a cent for a click in certain niches ive heard.

    so 2 half cent clicks and 1 cent click is my guess.

    Thats true. I've been getting clow clicks for the last wweek or so, and today my ctr jumped up 5%

    Well, that's the most likely explanation. If it's not that, either they were invalid clicks or just low paying ads.

    your ctr is too low, the reson off less click amout refers to invalid cliks, repetedly clicking one add & wrong adds placement!

    Maybe you're smartpriced, but I bet they were clicks from same IP.
    Anyway, you should be patient and wait for larger stats (at least 100 clicks) before making conclusions.

    I recently changed the ads format (from 1 text link at the top & 1 image link at the bottom) to text links both in top and bottom of the page. I also noticed that some ads appear both at the top & bottom on the same page (I mean same ads reappearing twice). May be this had something to do with low click earnings....

    Anyways, do you think it would be a good idea to write and ask google about this?

    yeah..my clicks are about a $1 or $2 per click, but i sugest you just wait. Im sure that it's just an invalid click. As long as it's not an abundance of them, google shoudlnt' do anything.
