If I register expired domains with PR, will the PR still be there after I register them or will I lose it?

i would assume that the PR would remain intact as the website probably still has active back links and as long as you get a new up before a pr update you should be fine i would think. if anything just purchase it and toss some lame coming soon page up there or something so when google bot comes around it still gets indexed.

Yes the PR would be there, but it isn't recommended unless it's the exact same niche - but i think you know that better than me :D

using a site like forummotercomp.com that may have a pr6 and making it a word cloud site, or a directory site.. something that isn't related to the back links ;)

Be careful about regging domains with PR that have expired. Some of them tend to have fake PR, and the value can also drop when you try and sell it and people know that it hasn't been held on continously.

    Mmmh...yes and not...
The perfect thing would be to put a site up that allows you not to loose backlinks before the update.
I mean, with an extreme example, that if you grab, let's say, motors.com and put up a cooking site, well, you may loose some backlink as faster as the backling sites' webmasters take a look at your work...
But this is such an obvious thing that I may report myself as a thread spammer , lol

    Regards

I Believe that maybe you will lose the PR once expired but they are still worth it as they may be getting targetted traffic towards them
