I just checked McDar's Google Datacenter Watch. It looks like all Data Centers are reporting the same results!!

I hope Google's little dance this week is finally over!

Apparently a number of people thought they were seeing something. I couldn't see any evidence of it in repeated checks...

If you could care less you could care more as well which means no one knows how much you actually care so basically you are saying nothing.

Now if you couldn't care less, that's a statement on how much you actually care.

But I'm sure you really don't care.

I think that seo chat is trying too hard to be an authority on issues. I agree that the who rec link game will come to an end, but it's been happening for a while :)

Couple days ago new results on 4 datacenters, yesterday 9, today 11. I thought for sure they would go back to earlier serps but after today seeing them propagate further, i don't know... i like what i see.

In the time it took me to write this, the new results are now showing on 16 data centers for me. Baby get my shoes.. we're going dancing tonight!

Google is not going to penalize reciprocal links for being reciprocal. That would make no sense at all. The foundation of Google was and is organic linking interpreted as democratic votes for websites serving as one of the factors determining SE ranking. Reciprocal linking is a natural feature of organic linking.

What I think Google is already doing is adding in relevance of those links. What that will do is increasingly discount non-relevant links, reciprocal or non-reciprocal.

Well, I picked a great time to be in the middle of changing everything on my web site. :-( Didn't loose any page rank but lost some of my number 1 keywords.
Guess I'll just finish up and hope for the best. Suppose there will be another update before Christmas?

bigdoug - I agree with you. No big changes. Just normal fluctuations in the SERPs...
