    Hi all ,

    I am new to SEO and I have tried and optimized my site http://www.freegameslodge.com for the keyword : " Free flash games " and I am at the 3rd or 4rth page on google for that keyword but I need help to get it to the first page. Can anyone give any suggesstions ?

    Any Help would be really appreciated.

    Get as many possible backlinks for your website , assuming all of them are going to be from niche related websites , you'll climb up the rankings , but it's a long way . You're not the only one who is trying to show up on Google for that keyword , so , competition is strong .

    Considering that you're on the 4th page in 100 million results, that's awesome already. However, you may want to try the co-op ad network here, you'll get lots of text links to your site

    Yes , and backlinks from non-related websites , finance , maybe pharmacy and some adult websites . It's a great way if you're looking to decrease your ranking . Sorry for being so acid , but it's my point of view .

    Try getting backlinks from related sites, such as arcade sites or flash sites.

    I would also use a sitemap and submit your site to directories.

    Remember to always use the anchor text, "Free Flash Games". And not "Play Free Flash Games" like in your signature. Best of luck.

    I think your current rankings will improve in the next update of google. This one is based on what your site was when you recently opened. (only 9 back links found). By this time google might have found you in many more places, and you will see the affect of this in their next update.
    Best thing for you would be to keep doing whatever you are doing, and "not" do anything foolish trying to get a higher position sooner...
