Press release writters?

Hi,

I have made a lot of changes to my blog hosting site and added a lot of new features, http://www.journalhome.com/

I would like to do a press release about it but I am not 100% sure what meeds to be done.

Are there any services, (on DP or somewhere else), that offer press releases?

Any suggestions?

you can get press releases written by freelancers at sites like rentacoder.com.

also some press release companies online offer to write them.

you can also find templates for press releases.

just do a Google.

Thanks guys. I do run a PR firm, so press releases are a pretty common thing in my work, and I can generally guide you a bit better in distribution than basic content writers offering the service can (since it's my main area of expertise). You can find the rates and more details here.

I'm technically off today because of the holiday, and am booked pretty solid tomorrow. Chances are that the earliest I could work in a new order would be around Monday; possibly Friday if I get a few other things cleared up more quickly than expected. You can find the details at the link I already provided. The benefits are pretty simple.... unlike most of the general writers and copywriters offering the service, I'm actually trained in PR. That means I not only know how to write to get a journalist's attention, but I can also give specific distribution advice to my clients on how to reach their key publics that other writers can't. As to whether or not it appears in Google news, if you're serious about coverage that certainly shouldn't be the first thing on your mind. But in the end that depends entirely on how you choose to distribute your release; not how it's written.
