I'm looking for a nice big bundle of attractive and useful fonts for graphic/web design. Sure I can search the internet for days and find millions of free fonts but in reality, only a small proportion of them will actually be worth the bandwidth i use downloading them Can anyone point me towards a SINGLE download that may include a lot of useful fonts (including pixel fonts)? I remember downloading such packages before on my old, retired computer and i believe there were a few hundred to each package! I'd be ultimately, super, flaboliciously grateful! Thanks!
as far as collections go, you're looking at a chunk of change. check out the font packages on http://www.linotype.com/23/fontcollections.html other than that im not sure that you will find many free font collections. your best choice there is browsing www.dafont.com or a similar website and picking out what you want.
I've bought font CDs off eBay - came with a few thousand fonts and a font viewer, so I spent an afternoon browsing the entire collection and just installing the ones I needed.
Try UrbanFonts. You've got to get creative with fonts (as do I!) and use a lot of variation - try lots of different syles and all that and you'll find something you really like.
for pixel fonts try fontsforflash.com i have used them personally, they have some great fonts, not just for flash webistes, can be used for anything
This is kind of related does anyone know an addon for Gimp 2.2 to get the "pimped out" style writing or fonts you see on clan and other style forums.

Thanks everyone for the font sites. I haven't looked for new fonts in awhile and I find I keep using the same ones over and over so it's time to find something fresh!
