Cool, but what people are always whining about is that they want to see who gave the rep (when it's red)

In my opinion, if your name went along with the rep you left it would increase the quality of the whole system. Then, odds are someone would be more cautious about leaving slanderous remarks in feedback.

But, then again... if people saw who left neg feedback it may cause feedback wars. So, its a double edged sword.

I think the rep system works as it should, and while I'd love to know who left a particular red for me - doing so would probably cause problems.

Think system works well as is. It makes for a self moderated forum.

it aint so much people that give red its the people that give red/green but put no reason so for e.g. if you made a bad post and you get red rep and someone dosnt give a reason y how are you meant to know why that post is bad, i dont care who gives out the rep but i think a reason why you are getting that rep should be given

If someone doesn't want to give a reason, do you think a plug-in that forces them to put one is going to change anything? All they would have to do is type random characters in the reason box.

Then we need a coherent sentence plugin, and a poll plugin to see if everyone agrees with the red/green rep that is given out. I don't like typing more than I have to, so almost every one I give out is blank.

Nice mod, now rather than get a blank 'red rep' I'll get a 'red rep' calling me a bad name.

    I like current system.

Sounds like a job for the Artificial Intelligence Rep Bot, able to leap over tall buildings in a single bound...

If you're willing to accept the "able to leap over tall buildings in two bounds" model, you can save yourself a lot of money... it is also more fuel efficient, which is important these days...
