    I'm looking to buy some links on a directory or two, but I want the directory to actually send traffic my way. In your experience with your websites, which directories have actually sent traffic to your websites?

    Just had a quick look for June and I believe it was about 15 hits. I think I was in top place for a while, I'm sure that helps.

    always remember directories send traffic, but people don't browse categories there, they just search!!
    if you give proper details, like metatags descreption etc, you will sure get traffic!!

    i would suggest you, alive, aviva, bigweblinks, dump, gii, and a few bid directoreis also if you can manage the top bids!

    I think PagePower sends quite a lot of traffic. I checked with some guys earlier and they get between 50 and 200 last month

    very few. people submit to categories for PR and link juice.

    home page sponsors, category sponsors, and banner ads send the most traffic, and of course the daily listing mod:)

    my bidding directory gets almost 200 uniques a day. It passes on around 30 clicks to whoever is ranked 1 on the site.

    You can add your site to directorycritic.com they used to bring me a lot of traffic..
