Nice layout, it blends in well with your advertisement on top. For the content area, I'm not a huge fan of the border you're using . I think it would look nicer with a basic 1 px border.
I like the purple waves on the top and the black background. The moving starts are ok with me but some people might not like it. For me i'd like you to improve the main content's background. I hate how it repeats the gradient. Either something blending or even a signle color would be better in my opinion.
well i would suggest you to 1. use large font for your text and also change the text color as it is impossible to read text and decrease the length of first page or align your images in a same manner currently they scrambled here and there on the first page
