Which One will rank better SEO.info or SEOinfo.com?

Everyone including Godaddy is discounting .info domains, but I have seen some .info site rank pretty well.

Considering that the the two sites are on-page optimised equally, equal number of links.. Everything else remaining Same.

Which one will have a better ranking. for SEO related phrases.
Not just "SEO" and "SEO Information" in particular?

Which one will rank better in google.
    SEO.info or SEOinfo.com

I am trying to get the domain for a some terms for which both the above options are available..

#2 Is .com popular only because many people directly type in ccccc.com or CTR+ enter in the URL.
Or does Search engines give any weightage to TLDs? I have a feeling they do, even though I see that some people disagree ( I have checked other threads)

In the seo.info domain googlebot will recognise the keyword seo, but in the seoinfo.com it won't.

For ranking good in search engines you need to add good content + quality backlinks. Doesn't matter your domain ext.

But .com is popular among ppl ;)

I agree with this. .com is def more popular and honestly, when searching i would choose a .com over a .info if those were my 2 results...just personal opinion.

Either way you go, ranking for a keyword like SEO is quite tough.

Since both have SEO in the url, I actually suspect that the .info would be better, simple because SEO as a percentage of the url is higher in the .info

However, links an content are probably far more important

I would be quite suprised if the domain extension, made that great an amount of difference. Google works off of Page-Rank, and (as far as I know) that has no relation to your extension, or even your name. So thus in reality all you need to do is write good content and get loads of links, then you should be fine.

If you would like to exploit the advantage of the keyword rich url you need to use seo.info since in the other one the seo is not separated with hypen from the info so that won't be recognised;)

And Guys/Ladies, I don't care much about URL type-ins. All I am looking for is A good URL that will rank well.

And please, I know and everybody knows that URL has a lot more weightage than some random directory links..

What I am not sure is if the TLD is also important.

    URL is Important.
Please don't say that ranking is all about links.
If two web pages have equal number of links and equal anchor texts from same websites

key-word.com will rank better than url.com/key-word.htm than Url.com/page101.htm

The Contention here is between Key-word-info.com VS key-word.info

And percentage of SEO more in the URL is a nice input. Thanks Centime.

Of course I am not saying that Links and Content are not important. I will provide all those, and plenty of them.
2-3 good 6/7 pagerank links can make you a fortune :) if you have the correct domain

Indeed, which ever will perform better (even tho the TLD will not matter much, but as someone mentioned at .info example the word seo 'or the word you will be targeting' has a higher percentage of the url is higher) i would recommend you get both domains.

And since your concern is about key-word.info and key-word-info.tld than you should already know very well the answer, what are you going to target "key word" or "key word info" ?

I don't think it will make any difference for google.
However I trust more .com sites and I avoid .info sites.

So try to find out a .com domain :)

i would have loved to pay a fortune for that key-word.com now being used as a bl**dy redirect. Hate these domainers.....

Go with the SEO.info -- This will lead to high rankings for your site and will also equate to higher rankings for your keyword SEO. SEO is HIGHLY saturated and very difficult to compete in, the only way to keep it all up is to build links and build your reputation through link-building, baiting as well as SEO tatics. As said above, .com's are more popular, but if you can get seo.info, then you will work in a golden way online.
