    I just got my first adsense payment today. $107 :). Dont laugh. Does anyone have tips to improve?

    From what I've read on this forum and other websites, move the ads around. Play with colors to blend in to your pages. put the ads on the content itself. And learn some SEO to drive more traffic to your website.

    And congrats on the first payment. The first time is always hard but it gets easier :)

    Add lots more unique relevant content... and get more traffic.

    More pages with ads displayed and more visitors to click them, will result in higher payments. It can take time though, so don't expect it immediately. :) Persevere though, as you possibly will find that all of a sudden things start to go upwards dramatically after several months, or a year or so. Too may people give up too soon.

    Depends on your site and niche though. Some people never seem to get far no matter how long they keep going.

    Always make sure you do everything legitimately and according to TOS. Don't risk potential ongoing large earnings (often pretty passively, after time) for a quick small amount!
