My experience with AuctionAds

That is really nice thanks to everyone that answered that! I am still new with auction ads, but so far I really like them. So 30 days for new register, 7 days otherwise (unless they click on another another persons auction ad). I think I can make some money with auction ads!

Your getting alot of clicks and low sales - any idea why?

 

I'd say its the niche.... low cost items.

 

Once the cookie is set you earn a commission on anything they buy during that time, not just the item they happen to click through to. So it doesn't matter if they start with a cheap item as long as they look around and buy something more expensive.

High clicks and no sales makes me think lookers with lots of time and curiosity but no money; kids maybe?

 

Yes theres that also.... maybe its the demographic of the users like you said... young with no money.

 

thats why I asked the question - maybe its a music forum where kids are buying a CDs or something - I dunno.

 

Yeah I have suspected this for a while, our main demographic is around 13-18 years of age from what I can figure so most of these are kids with no money. The unfortunete thing is you would still expect slightly higher earnings. Actually its a Social Network for people interested in Japanese comics and Animations.

I dont have earnings for 29/30 June but have the rest.

I have no earnings in the last week.

Time to move back to AdSense. Better $2 a day, than $15 a month.

 

No I have earnings every day up to the 26th. Nothing after that. Same ole thing with AA. Time to move on.

 

Hmm I wonder if there is something similar wrong with my account. Since June 12th I have earned a whole $0.09 on one day, with the rest $0. I had put it down to the nature of AA and just a bump in earnings, but every week before that saw some earnings - only ever a few days in a row at $0.

I'll try contacting support, but it's almost good to hear of others having issues.

 

For me its just the last 4 days - but I just got my payout and it looks like I earned pretty well those days.

 

Chiamera, don't expect to perform well with that low amount of clicks.

With auction ads I receive about 600/800 clicks PER DAY and make an average of $20 daily. I've read at digitalpoint somebody that performs better than me with a similar amount of clicks.

Instead, with Amazon, I receive about 100 clicks per day and sold only $20 this month (the whole month). Ugh!

It is very difficult to check the results of an affiliate program with less than 100 clicks per day.

It is different with each program, but I have a rule for my site: If at 300 clicks I don't make a sale, I place a red flag on that program. At 600/1000 clicks there is no sale at all, then I stop promoting it.

Anyone who made over $500 last month have their money from AA? I have not seen any yet. Also, still no update on stats since the 26th.

 

Well until that point I was actually doing okay with that amount of clicks - averaging a few dollars per day. This was the period before that in June:

So I'm happy overall with the earnings, it's just odd that they stopped so suddenly and I thought it might be due to some technical fault.
