Shopping Mall script?

Discussion in 'General Business' started by Joe Blow, Oct 8, 2005.

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a script to power a shopping mall section of my site and was just wondering if anyone had some suggestions.

I know that it could be achieved with most directory scripts but I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations of scripts (commercial or free) that have served them well for something like this.

    Any feedback appreciated!

Just wanted to let everyone know that i tried out the kodemall platform for a shopping mall website that is being mentioned in this thread and it is a sham. The coding on the site that is delivered to you is so poor that the website runs so slow it can hardly get of the front page. Kodemall states its code is W3C valid - and it is definately not! If it was then the homepage wouldn't sit on a subdirectory 3 levels deep - this also completely shows the "SEO friendly URL's" that it states come as standard is an outright lie. Just look at the URL on the 'example' site that they have on their website (i wish i'd have looked more into the platform before i wasted $3,000 on it).I was also promised 90 days of after sales support - this was non existant, there is a support ticket area that you can submit the issues that you have (there will be many) however the tickets just go unanswered for the 90 days and then after this period they suddenly start answering the support tickets but state that it is "outside of the 90 days support period" and that you have to pay for the fixes. SCAM.Take my advice here guys, save your money and AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
