I just purchased an mp3 player and after sending the payment I realized that the seller can't ship the item to Canada (for some reason I don't know). Anyways I sent him an e-mail about the situation but just in case he doesn't reply what should I do? I sent the payment through PayPal but since I have almost no money on the account it is going to use an e-check. One idea that came to mind is that I can close my paypal account before the e-check clears and all pending transactions should immediatly cancel. Will I be able to re-open my account later on? What would you do. I don't feel like loosing $80
Contact him. Maybe for an extra $5 he can send it to Canada. >> I don't feel like loosing $80 You should have checked the shipping options before bidding hehe
Don't close your account. If he/she is a high volume seller, it shouldn't be a problem. He will charge more shipping, or give you your money back. It will be resolved before long if I had to guess. Last resort would be to go to Paypal.
It doesn't matter. Payal gives the seller 2 options which is to either refund the money or ship the player. The seller is being a dumbass by not refunding the money.
