Othonas, I doubt very much the authenticity of the reply from the Google Adsense Team quoted in the link you provided:

That just do NOT sound like Google team to me.

Your account WILL be possibly banned if Google adsense team finds a connection. Why to take that risk? Just create your own site and put your own ads!

ok no risk. i have my own sites to run. Just another question came in my mind now, with also controversial results. What if my friend "sell" the website, change the owner in whois database and i will be the official owner of the domain?
If i provide these facts to google will then be possible? what do you think?
(in my situation this particular domain plays a great role)

I would not proceed with anything until I got an OKAY from Google. If you explain things, and the website was not doing anything that got the previous owner banned, and they give their blessing, I'd go for it. Otherwise, I've seen too many posts from people whose letters said they were banned for being associated with a previously banned account. That association could either be that they found a link between the two accounts, or between the new account and a website that was associated with an old (ie banned) account.

By saying link it does not mean some rss feed that i use in my pages from the banned website i think. Since the subject of the banned site is identical to my sites, would be a problem if there is extended reference to this site by me?

I don't mean a web or hypertext link, I mean a link as in something that connects or relates the two Adsense IDs. That connection, in this case, may be that the new Adsense ID appears on the same site that a banned Adsense ID once appeared upon.

Why don't you mail Google and ask them. They have a good team sitting there who will answer most of your questions. They will take some time, but they will answer.

    Regards,

Just say that you are planning on purchasing that site and the owner has stated their AdSense was banned.

I think it'd really depend on the reason the original user was banned.

I agree, just ask Google. They have customer support that gets paid to answer these questions.
