What do you like from an affiliate program?

What are the best marketing / promotion "things" an affiliate program can offer?
Banners?, text links?, blog posts?, keyword lists?, other?

Not sure if you would constitute a great support staff as a "thing" ...But that is a high one on my list.

Having an Affiliate Manager well versed in the offer(s) their network provides, as well as general Affiliate Marketing knowledge ...is vital!

After that, I would say a diverse pool of creative.

datafeeds is important, text links, 2 tier referral links, a few banner ads maybe for the people that still use them.

Having a wide variety of banner sizes is very important to me. Nothing worse then logging into a program and seeing just 468x60's and 88x31's.

Definitely the banners of different sizes.

 

Banners no longer work but Datafeeds are something which you can count on. Especially when you are creating a site based on multilple affiliate products, datafeeds can help pull in the descriptions like a catelouge. Besides that, you can always see to it that good promotion emails are on the list so that you can modify them according to the way you want to sell.
