A defalut deeplink functionality

Mhamdi has done some great work on that: http://blog.rakcha.com/2007/06/19/phplinkbid-deep-links-mod/

But the newer webmasters might not even get the smell of it

It ensure that we have more power when it come to generating link sales

I agree that rakcha did a great deeplink mod...I just installed it..

 

Not a mod request, but how about changing the wording on all those 'buy a link' links, also the default content on e.g. the 'about' page. I realise we can do this ourselves, and I have on my bidding directory, but I see most people have left the default wordings, which do seem to shout out that 'this is a link buying site'.

 

Alright. Lets go with this a little more then i will have this thread closed so we can start working. Then i will start another thread about errors/bugs.

Thanks everyone. Many are on the list, and while implementing these features I want to make them fairly robust from the get-go. For example deep links will be included but support a variable number of links and options configured by the admin. These take some time to properly implement of course but we hope to pack as much as possible into this next update!

 

I am not using the script as I am not interested in the bid model but I suggest these:
- possibility to add additional fields from the admin panel
- possibility to create static pages with wysiwyg editor
- make mod integration easier, without modifying core files
...

 

Option to set minimum bid price for link from the admin panel would be nice.

Yeah subcategories would be a big one from me as well, I agree with implementing out bid notification.

 

shopping cart feature. if someone wants to purchase 5 $1 links, paypal hits you with .30/cents ea. instead they can paypal one payment for $5 for all 5 links.
