Formal e-mails and Gmail

I will be the first to admit that I'm a big fan of Gmail and was wondering if it possible to use my formal e-mails (phil@mydomainname.com) in Gmail. In other words I want to receive my e-mails using Gmail, is there any possibility to manage my e-mail using Gmail.

    Any help is appreciated

no kidding! it was actually an account used to submit articles in article directories, so i don't check it much.
