I'm ranking first for all of search terms/keywords, now what?

Ok, lets say I'm ranking first for all of the search terms/keywords on Google that I need to rank for.

What's next? Besides SEO, what other free ways are there to bring targeted traffic to my site?

Try writing article and submitting them to directories. Also social bookmarking, digg, etc. I guess it depends on what you niche is.

There is ALWAYS more terms you can rank for. Target higher volume keywords.

 

Why not place links on other realtess dites. If those sites are popular then will get some traffic to your site from those links. Other than, the best way is to get natural links to your sirte from others (sites and blogs), that should drive soome traffic.

 

I would say article marketing. Write articles about subjects in your niche and submit them to the major article directories to build even more links.

 

I am curious to know what keywords you are ranked in. If anything keep building so your not surpassed!

You seem to have forgotten that there is ALWAYS more to do online!

The most important thing you can do is add more Quality Content. This will get you more links and return visits, that's a fact.

Second, build links and awareness of your website on other websites. This is even better than SEO... assuming you have Quality Content.

Remember, people do a Search when they need information about something NOW! However, they usually prefer to first check out trusted sources and browse their "regular" websites for info before they hit Google.

Case in Point: What did you do first?

A. Search DP forums for advice and an answer to your marketing question.

B. Search Google and Yahoo for an answer to your marketing question.


I'm willing to bet on A... it's the same for almost all niches.

BUILD CONTENT.

 

Definitely keep adding more content with additional keywords. You're in an excellent position now. Once you know how to do it, you can do it again and again. Have fun.
