I went bowling yesterday and they had already started putting up their Christmas decorations  , WTF it's only just October. Anybody else seen any XMas commercialisation yet.

That's utterly ridiculous. It makes me sick to see anything remotely related to christmas before thanksgiving, let alone holloween. WTF, let's just put up the yuletide decorations in March.

Did look a bit stupid with a tinsel covered pin with Happy Christmas on one side and then an advert for a halloween party on the other. Least it's not just us then.

Yeah, I noticed all the Chrismas stuff in the supermarket last night.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were for Chrismas 2007

(I had to stop and think "what year is it" just then!)

Halloween is my warmup for Christmas. Unfortunately, it's mostly a different set of lights, so I can "re-use" many that I have put out ... but I do the Halloween take-down just after the 31st and then starting working on the christmas stuff.

BTW, if you are serious about xmas stuff, you buy your stuff the year BEFORE (as the post holiday sales) because then it is 50-75-90% off ... so it's been fun the last week or so "re-discovering" what I had picked up last year.

I started seeing Christmas stuff at stores since early August.

And now I am slowly starting to get more and more traffic at my Christmas site... seems that people are already searching for it
