Why do people still use IE?

My IE never crashed or gave me any trouble so far..so that saved me the adventure cost

 

If it isn't broke then don't fix it!

IE does the job, although most webmasters perfer firefox for some reason?

The fact that you can block adverts in firefox does not make it agreeable with my website as it is monetized by adsense.

I used FF exclusively for about 6 or 7 months, but after getting a new pc I used IE for a while and decided I like it much better.

I still use FF, but as an exception rather than a rule.

 

yeah but unless you are a 'Moe' you really don't need that crap IMO. but if you click on paypal emails all the time enable that biotch!

 

I agree with this statement... People are just too lazy to switch over. And I'm sure some of them don't know how... I know many that fall in both categories.

 

i just downloaded IE 7 the other day and i must say im impressed! now i use both ie7 and ff at the time heh

 

Maybe they are not using Mac....

IE7 is alright. I prefer Firefox because of the customization abilities and stuff.

 

you can customize IE7 too , probably just not to the extent of FF.

that's one of the things I was always impressed about FF, 1) the number of custom things available, and 2) how easy it was to implement them.

I loved using Opera for instance but good luck finding plug-ins and the like

 

Mostly, elders and those not so techy guys use IE still...

 

I could ask the same: Why are people still using FF?

I have probably 5 browsers installed and would say FF is in the top 4 but I still use some form of IE daily but FF may not get opened for weeks.

I still cannot get Roboform to install in FF! So I have to open IE every time I need a password?.....I don't think so.

 

People are lazy. People are usually happy with what they have.
Plus IE7 is quite good (not as good as Firefox or Opera).

 

I love IE, especially the latest edition. Never got into Firefox, and have no problem with microsoft.

 

The reason I made this topic is because it wasn't working with one of my sites; it looked fine on Firefox but didn't work on IE, so I was pissed that 70% of visitors were IE and I made this, ha.

 

I use it because it's simple and gets the job done.

 

I dont know, just use it since I was 3 years old till now

 

I'm not using it for a long time. Using Firefox and Opera instead of it. They're amazing.

 

This is kinda off topic but did anyone start using Safari for Windows?

 

how do you do an FTP with FF?

 

I have been using Firefox since a month . and it made my work easier .......
