An Experimental DMOZ Bot

This was in my stats from overnight as a bot that entered my site.

I've noticed in the past when submitting to DMOZ that the site is spidered somewhat quickly, but I've not done a submission recently, and I've not seen this particular bot before:

    SearchGuild/DMOZ/Experiment

Anyone have any ideas? Just curious ....

    Thanks.

It would be interesting to know why is/are he/they crawling the sites listed in dmoz.
A new search engine or maybe just to find expired domains listed in dmoz?
I don't know the anwser, but if they are still doing it 2 years after they started, there must be a reason why.

They sent the bot out and now they can't get it to come home? Sort of like one of those Jupiter probes?
