Best newcomer directory 2007 - first half.

We have gathered some of the directories launched after February 2007.
We have listed them on our forum, on this thread.
Right now we are on the presentations phase.
In a few days we are going to start the voting.

Great Idea

It will certainly help new directories as well as new directory owners.
What is the next phase & when its going to start??

Presentation phase started on saturday and it will last until tuesday.
On wednesday we will start voting.

Some directories where excluded as we were looking for directories that have been through one PR update.
We have checked this and hoping we made no mistakes.
Some other directories like "broadest" were posted to late, so although they are great directories, they are a little late.
I want to mention again that the directories listed here, are not a complete list of new directories. It is just a list of all directories we could gather here in DP.
We will make other evaluations also, and we will give a chance to everyone, with new or old directories to attract attention.
Until then we have a voting that is coming near so if you are interested visit our forum and post your opinion.

his reasonings which he does not state clearly for our sites not being included is the high PR...


Most of the sites listed has been through this past update along with our sites... but they didn't get the high pr..

so only they shud be listed in the list


he said in the pm it will give us "unfair advantage"

i believe this list is biased (just my opinion)

because idk.in was launched after the update in january, so it didn't go through the january update... and on the first update after being launched it obtained pr 5.

same with sniff and directory dream....

but since we did a good job in promotion we should be eliminated

not saying that other users don't promote

but i found this contest absolutely cr*p because we are getting eliminated because we over did ourself and worked extremely hard and got lucky and got better results than some others.

Not saying that other directories listed in the list have not done their work... (they were just unlucky)

I don't like the irony in your comments. I think that we can all express ourselves as adults here.
If you think that including your directory would be so important for you then I have no problem doing so. If you think that your directory contesting with a bunch of small new directories would benefit, then I have no problem allowing you to do so.
But I think that we should not look for contests we can easilly win, as we shouldn't steal cookies from a little child.
You didn't mention that in the PM I also cleared out that I don't question the amount of work you put on your directory nor its quality.
I was just trying to give attention to the small newcomers.
I don't know any of the people who own the directories listed there.
Now if it is so important to get listed and participate then please be my guest.

No problem here. Indexwide Web Directory is listed there. It s nice to know about a list of young directories. Thank You for that information.
